1991
  • PROFI starts trading activity in imported furniture. Our first presentation at Autumn ´91 fair in Poznań.

1992
  • We change our name into PROFIm.

1993
  • We start adaptation works in a production room because of manufacture of chairs that is supposed to be launched there in 1994.

1994
  • We launch manufacture of office chairs and armchairs.
  • We open the first commercial branch in Poznań.
  • For the first time we go to fair abroad. It is International Fair FURNITURE in Moscow. The promotion campaign on the Russian market begins – more than half of the output is exported to the East.

1995
  • We acquire the Plant of Automatic Elements in Turek and convert it into Metal Departament of PROFIm.

1996
  • A laboratory chair TULIP PU is awarded the Gold Medal at MTP.
  • We open another two commercial branches – in Katowice and Warsaw.

1997
  • We initiate promising cooperation with IKEA.
  • A commercial branch is opened – in Gdynia.

1998
  • For the first time we participate in ORGATEC International Trade Fair For Furnishing and Management of Offices and Office Facilities in Cologne.
  • We launch implementation of a computer system based on MRP Standard.

1999
  • We embark upon preparations for implementation of a Quality Assurance System based on ISO 9001 Standards.

2000
  • PERFO armchair (designed by Grzegorz Olech) is awarded the Gold MTP Medal.
  • KOKO System model (designed by Tomasz Augustyniak) is distinguished with a label IWP Good Model.
  • We begin broad cooperation with ABP Wzornik designing office and other freelance designers.
  • Chamber of Commerce in Konin and RADIO 66 decorate PROFIm with the title of The Company Of The Year Of 1999.
  • We obtian a ceretificate confirming the concordance of our QA system with ISO 9001 Standards.

2001
  • We celebrate our 10th birthday.
  • At Furniture 2001 fair – where we are traditionally present – our stand is awarded the Gold Medal.
  • We receive next award - Good Design for the armrest NIKO.
