PROFIRMA 2001On 7-8 September 2001, in the Conference Centre of BUDIMEX - the MAGDA hotel in Licheń Stary, an annual integration and training event "ProFirma 2001" was held for the customers of PROFIm. This year's meeting was special as the company celebrated its 10th anniversary. Over 150 guests came from Poland and abroad. During the official part the ten-year long history of the company was presented in summary in the context of Poland's economy. Then the statuettes of " PROFIm's 10th anniversary" were distributed. This way the company honoured ten business partners who contributed the most to its development. The statuettes were handed to: Agencja Handlowa ABIZ przedsiębiorstwo prywatne (Commercial Agency), CELT S.A., Departament Rozliczeń Zagranicznych Banku PKO S.A. w Warszawie (PKO Bank Foreign Exchange Clearing Department in Warsaw), HELIKON Centrum Jupiter S.A., Fabryka Mebli Biurowych MIKOMAX Spółka z o.o. (Furniture Maker), IKEA HANIM POLAND S.A., Międzynarodowe Targi Poznańskie Spółka z o.o. (International Poznań Fairs), P.H.P. JANKES, POTAMKIN INTERNATIONAL Spółka z o.o., and PROJECT95. The event was also an opportunity to present the latest models from the PROFIm's collection. New chairs (NIKO, OLO and GRAPHIT) were exhibited which had their premiere show at the furniture fair MEBLE 2001 in Poznań, as well as the JOJO family - the entirely new proposal by Tomasz Augustyniak. After the official part, all guests of "Profirma 2001" enjoyed a PICNIC with a lot of attractions and competitions with prizes. The banquet in the evening - "Farewell to prohibition" - was maintained in the atmosphere of the twenties and thirties. Apart from shows given by artists, the main feature of the evening was a specially arranged CASINO with PROFI as the binding currency. Each gambler had PROFI 1000 to lose or multiply in the game. Special awards were granted to the best two gamblers who managed to win the most. The climax of the 10th anniversary party was a spectacle of fireworks. |
