PROFIRMA 2002On 07 January 2002, PROFIm, a leading manufacturer of office chairs and armchairs, invited its contracting parties for an integration-training meeting to the Kliczków Castle near Bolesławiec. The unusual location and beautiful scenery of the medieval castle located among the green Woods of Lower Silesia was a sufficient stimulus and an attractive incentive for leaving huge offices and forgetting about daily chores. This already a permanent event in the Company's calendar called PROFIRMA 2002 met a wide response from the office furniture industry. Leading Polish and foreign producers and dealers of office furniture had an opportunity to learn about new offerings of the Company and its organisational changes. The guests were interested in the previously indicated strategy for the upcoming decade. The hospitable and thought-triggering walls of the castle not only made everybody contemplate the past, but also devise common plans on the coming, hardly-predictable future. The organisers made every effort to pack the 2-day's schedule to the maximum. Not only did the guests have their training "feed", but they could also enjoy a rich and full of surprises recreation-artistic program. One could see realistic duels of knights or witness an executioner at work. The bravest, however, had an opportunity to challenge grim Saracens. Many were willing to test their skills at competitions brought directly from the Middle Ages. Very popular was a bow's tournament. Panning gold, however, was the most popular - as befits businessmen. The lucky ones could boast with beautiful nuggets which were panned under the supervision of professional gold-seekers. During late night hours, the castle guests witnessed black magic, wizardry and evil ghosts. A show of the leading Polish conjurer Maciej Pol was the main feature of the evening. The party lasted till dawn when reality came back, and it was time to say good-bye. Both Polish and international guests left in the belief that the co-operation with PROFIm is not only a good business, but also a more stable future. |
