LINUS - A PRODUCT OF THE YEAR 2005The family of manager’s seats LINUS (designer Piotr Kuchciński), has been rewarded in a competition organized by the branch magazine Meble Plus being granted a title: “ Meble Plus – Product 2005” in the category of chairs and office armchairs. The modern design of the armchair based upon a visible inspiration by the form of a sitting human and a non trivial finishing stressing its shapes have been appreciated. Jury turned its attention also to the functionality of the family of Linus armchairs resulting from the complex and different collection. The settled third edition of the competition „Meble Plus – Produkct of the Year” covered almost 200 products of almost 70 companies. Estimated were: products, furniture, materials and half-materials used in the production. Rewards have been granted in 13 categories. Purpose of the competition is the promotion of furniture products present on the market. If we consider selection criteria of the jury of the competition: designing and usage features, finishing quality, relation of a price to the quality and conformity with obligatory norms and modern solutions, we can surely trust products marked: „Meble Plus - Produkt 2005”. The ceremony of granting rewards took place on January, 11, 2005 in the Mariott hotel in Warsaw. |
