CONFERENCE OF IFS AND PROFImThe implementation of IFS Applications in our company is reaching its end. The system comprising the key processes occurring in the enterprise is already operating. The implementation success has lead to a press conference held in Turek on the 23rd November 2005. The meeting was attended by the journalists of the professional magazines concerning IT solutions, modern management and furniture market as well as local press reporters, representatives of the IFS company and PROFIm experts, including persons directly responsible for the implementation. The President of PROFIm, Mr Ryszard Rychlik, presented the history of the company, its activity profile and special IT requirements in the area of the enterprise management. Mr. Grzegorz Dybus, the logistics director of the company and Mr. Jan Marczewski, managing the project implementation on behalf of IFS, discussed the process of the realisation of the undertaking, starting from the moment of taking the decision on purchase of the new information system, throughout all the stages of its implementation. The most important spot of the presentation was the enumeration of the benefits achieved thanks to the operation of the system. The presentation was closed by a lively discussion; questions from the audience were answered. The last item on the agenda was a joint visit to the plant. |
