COMPANY OF THE YEAR 2006We did more than prescribed in the management system based on the DIN EN ISO 9001:2000 standard. Consequently, in the opinion of DQS auditors, we deserved the title of the Company of the Year 2006. DQS Polska, a company specialising in the certification and verification of management systems, grants its best company awards in four categories: the automotive industry, services, the food industry and the manufacturing industry – in which our company was recognised as the best. - We really do care about being the market leader, which is why we set ourselves goals which went beyond the requirements of the ISO standard. In order to attain these goals, all the employees of our company had to invest a lot of work and effort, however we were successful – says Grzegorz Dybus, the Director of Logistics. Today our lead times do not exceed 14 days. – Customer service has been maximally streamlined. Customers in virtually any corner of the world are able to check the status of their order, that is see if the product is still in the manufacturing phase or is finished and waiting in the warehouse – explains Dybus. Our success can be predominantly attributed to the implementation of a quality management system based on ISO 9001 and an integrated company management system. On the one hand, the two systems contributed to a reduction of manufacturing costs with a simultaneous efficiency increase and, on the other hand, reduced the manufacturing cycle. PROFIm has also done away with most of paper documentation, as complete sets of documents are saved electronically on a regular basis. Also, there are no problems with specifying the actual – not only normative – cost of manufactured chairs and armchairs. Thanks to the ongoing process of improvement of our company's organisation, as well as implementation of innovations, we can improve our customer service standards and constantly extend our market offer. |
