PROFIm AMONG THE BEST - THE TELEINFO 100 REPORTWe were included among the best computerised enterprises and institutions of the year 2006. Originators of the Teleinfo 100 report, organised under the leading theme of IT solutions in the Polish economy, appreciated the ERP class integrated management system implemented in our company. PROFIm was granted an award in the category of building and assembly, woodworking and furniture. – Due to quick development of the company and, consequently, growing requirements with regard to the IT system supporting company management, the previous IT system was no longer sufficient for our needs. Business reality forced us to introduce wide-ranging changes – explains Grzegorz Dybus, the Director for Logistics. Thanks to these changes, we succeeded in improving the quality of our customer service. Customers in virtually any corner of the world are able to check the status of their orders. It is worth noting that following the introduction of the integrated management system the material turnover rate fell from 59 down to 33 days. But this is not all. The system covered nearly the entire scope of the company’s business activity, including planning, production, procurement, warehouse management and finances. This way, we improved our organisation of work and increased efficiency. As a result, PROFIm became even more competitive – not only on the Polish market, but also on foreign markets. The award-giving ceremony of the Golden Laurels of the Teleinfo 100 report for the year 2006 was held at a Grand Gala at the Sofitel Victoria Hotel in Warsaw on 27 November. |
