ACANTHUS AUREUSWe have won the “Acanthus Aureus” award again. The award was granted in appreciation of our company’s exhibition at this year’s edition of the BIURO Trade Fair. The intention of the competition is to reward best designed exhibition stands. Another equally important criterion used by the Chapter of the competition in the process of selecting winners is contribution of the stand to the achievement of corporate marketing goals. The Jury also appreciates interesting architectural and graphic solutions which make it possible to develop valuable direct relations with customers and build positive company image. The stand prepared for this year’s edition of the Fair, designed by Adam Lorenc, was marked chiefly by an open structure and transparency promoting communication. In our exhibition space occupying 300 square metres we wanted to ensure unlimited access, enabling visitors to see our stand from any of the sides and explore our exhibition in any direction of their choice. This vision was possible thanks to the unique spatial arrangement of our stand resembling a planetary system. A cafeteria section, the central and dominant element, was surrounded by an orbit formed by furniture collections, reception desk and multimedia zone. The cafeteria, i.e. a place for holding meetings with customers, was designed in such a way as to provide ongoing communication with the other sections of the stand and, at the same time, offer privacy necessary to conduct talks without feeling self-conscious. As it turned out, other sections of our exhibition were also used as meeting venues, particularly the multimedia zone which featured a display of our system of reception furniture and a round couch which served as a sampler displaying different upholstery fabrics available in our offer. An important factor which was taken into account in the process of stand construction – in line with worldwide design trends – was the use of environmentally friendly solutions. – Thanks to using a large amount of various fabrics, we have obtained forms of considerable volume without having to put up any heavy structures. Typically, the exhibition industry is charged with the accusation that it wastes materials and power. At this year’s event, we made our first active and responsible attempt to change the current situation and, in keeping with international trends in design, we will pursue the direction in the future – said Adam Lorenc, the designer of the stand. Other pro-ecological measures incorporated in the design of our exhibition stand include the use of energy-efficient light bulbs in the lighting system of the cafeteria, and the open structure of the stand which makes the maximum use of natural daylight entering the exhibition hall. Our stand at the BIURO Trade Fair is an effect of long cooperation between our company and Adam Lorenc. At this year’s show, we entrusted the designer the task of preparing our exhibition area for the seventh time. So far, we have jointly implemented a number of projects, both for domestic and foreign trade shows (e.g. Orgatec or Mobitex). The winning stand was put up by 4EXPO. |
