PROFIm AT GDYNIA DESIGN DAYS“Gdynia Design Days” – Poland’s first international design event for designers, Tricity (Trójmiasto) residents and tourists – was officially opened on Friday, 11 July. Exhibitions, workshops and conferences, which are scheduled to last until 27 July, will showcase examples of innovative ideas proposed by designers representing the following Baltic countries: Latvia, Norway, Estonia, Denmark, Lithuania, Germany, Finland, Russia, Sweden and, of course, Poland. A great variety of attractions will include: “Design in Containers”, i.e. an exhibition and fair of products designed by top Polish designers, a Walk along the Path of Gdynia Modernism, 4th International Ergonomics Conference on “Ergonomics in the Digital World”, as well as exhibitions: “Time to Relax”, “Design Icons” and “Good Design”. The latter exhibition will show works designed by winners of the “Good Design” competition, in which PROFIm products - RAYA chair line and PRADERA seat sets - reached the finals. The models, which received honorary mentions from the jury, will be displayed at the “Gdynia Design Days” as well. The “Design Icons” exhibition showing objects of everyday use will feature the UWU office chair. |
