ORGATEC 2008 LOOKING BACKBetween 21-25 October, Cologne in Germany hosted ORGATEC International Office and Facility Fair. This year, this prestigious event attracted 673 exhibitors from 39 countries with over 62,500 visitors, mostly from abroad. The attendance was higher than expected. This shows growing importance of the office industry. ORGATEC 2008 was a great success also for us! This year, PROFIm appeared at ORGATEC yet again. With 230 m2 exhibition area, we showed our most interesting products, including: PRADERA, ON, KALA, KOMO, RAYA, VANCOUVER BOX and SQUARE, LIGO and RESSO, KOKO and JET. Visitors had an opportunity to see enhanced and improved models: CLEO and UWU (upholstered), as well as RAFA (single-leg). All our never-before-displayed new products became very popular among visitors. They included: swivel chairs – LAZO, LED, ARCA; conference chairs – BIT, SMILE; restaurant chairs and tables SENSI and SEATTLE couch. LAZO prototype chair and SENSi line became an instant success. We attracted all kinds of interest and curiosity. It was probably also due to unique appearance of PROFIm exhibition stand. With all-white stands of other exhibitors, we showed innovative, industrial design and simple geometric shapes, strengthened with contrasting colours of red, black and grey. Visitors enjoyed watching and testing our products, as well as relaxing and discussing in a coffee serving area. ORGATEC Office and Facility Fair (21-25 October, 2008) is the most prestigious industry fair. Organized in Cologne, this biennial event is a great opportunity to see products from leading European and global companies. ORGATEC is also focused on new products, the most interesting office solutions and technological, design and material novelties, presented by key industry organizations. This year’s ORGATEC is over.
