THE PEARL OF THE POLISH ECONOMYPROFIm was granted the title of The Pearl of the Polish Economy in Large Pearl category for consistent business policy and strategy as well as for its leadership among the most dynamic and effective companies in Poland. The Pearl of the Polish Economy ranking has been compiled for six years by “Polish Market” – an economy magazine issued in English – and the Institute of Economics of the Polish Academy of Sciences. The ranking is organized under the auspices of Waldemar Pawlak – the Deputy Prime Minister and Professor Michał Kleiber – the President of the Polish Academy of Sciences. Based on factors that assess the entire area of the company’s activity, The Pearl of the Polish Economy ranking provides the most objective information on companies standing. Not only the size of the company, measured as the value of its total income, but also its effectiveness, dynamics and liquidity affect company’s ranking. The list includes some 1,000 companies with an income of over PLN 100 million. The official gala with the result announcement ceremony of the 6th Edition was held on the 21st November, 2008 at the Royal Castle in Warsaw. |
