“EXHIBITION STAND OF THE YEAR”22 April saw the announcement of winners in the contest for the best designed and constructed exhibition stand. PROFIm’s stand, displayed at the ORGATEC 2008 trade fair in Cologne, was awarded the Silver Medal in the contest organised by the Polish Chamber of Exhibition Industry for companies dealing with the design, construction and furnishing of trade fair stands. The stand was designed by Adam Lorenc and constructed by Meliński Minuth Sp. z o.o., a Poznań-based company. The Medal was awarded by a Jury made up of experts selected from three professional groups: practising designers of exhibition stands, experts representing universities with interior design and exhibition faculties, and representatives of the media specialising in interior architecture and marketing. The main idea behind the “Stand of the Year” contest is to promote innovative architectural solutions in the exhibition industry, the use of new technologies and materials, as well as interesting modern inspirations in the art of exhibition. All winning stands are marked for their original design and inventive original structural solutions. |
