Quality Management

PROFIm, as Poland’s first manufacturer of office chairs, received a Quality Management System certificate in 2000, compatible with ISO 9001:2000 standards for the scope of: “design, production, sale and service of office furniture and their components".

The certificate was granted by the certification unit DQS GmbH, member of IQNet - The International Certification Network.

In October 2009 this certificate was replaced by the ISO 9001:2008 certificate.

The most important aspect of the Quality Management System is client orientation – recognition of customer demand, the desire to meet his needs and gauging level of product satisfaction and quality of customer service.

The PROFIm Quality System helps to supervise and perfect all the Company business processes, in particular:

• New product design
• Manufacturing – planning, producing and product quality control.
• Purchasing - choice of the most reliable raw-material suppliers meeting our quality requirements.
• Sale – especially purchase order processing, customer service and deliveries on term.
• Warranty and post-warranty services.

ISO 9001 certification confirms that consistently high-quality products are delivered to our clients in the stipulated time.

Environmental responsibility

Within the scope of our activities we strive to exert very limited environmental impact. We have adopted a wide range of practices for self-perfectioning in this area and we also take a step further by promoting environmental friendly behaviors among our suppliers and in the local community. All these environmental activities are consistent with the Quality and Environmental Policy.

In order to retain the system course of all processes, we planned and implemented Environmental Management System which we are going to test in accordance with the requirements of the standard ISO 14001:2005 in 2011.

		All the remaining materials employed in the manufacturing processes have all required certificates proving they meet quality standards and contain allowable concentrations of substances posing threat to human health and environment.
		We make sure, early in the design process and then in further manufacturing stages, that the least amount of waste possible will be generated. For instance, we apply computer cutting and purchase only desired sizes of fabrics.
		Energy efficiency is one of our main priorities. For this reason, we have introduced a number of technical and organizational solutions and staff trainings.
		We have been practicing waste segregation and conveying waste exclusively to authorized collection centers for many years. Additionally, we promote and finance waste segregation and collection in the local environment.
		We have identified and controlled spots of environmental risk.
