Changes in the Profim management
We would like to inform that on the 6th of July 2017, the sale transaction of the majority of Profim Ltd shares to Innova Capital private equity fund took place.
With this day, a new stage in Profim’s development started which aims to intensify the company’s development and further reinforce its position in the ranking of the largest manufacturers of office seating in Europe.
The current CEO, Ryszard Rychlik, has taken the post of the Chairman of the new Supervisory Board whilst Piotr Chełmiński, who has years of experience in managing Polish and foreign enterprises, is the newly elected CEO at Profim. The new Board of Directors includes also Mr Lukasz Meissner and Mr Marcin Porada.
Piotr Chełmiński has many years’ experience working on management boards of Polish and foreign companies, including listed companies. He is a graduate of SGGW (the Warsaw University of Life Sciences) and in postgraduate studies at the University of Management and Marketing in Warsaw, the Department of ITC Power and Aeronautical Engineering at the Warsaw University of Technology, and London Business School. He was, inter alia, the President of the largest Czech petrochemical holding company Unipetrol AS, part of the PKN ORLEN Group, and a member of the management board of petrochemicals, and then the downstream and energy developer, of PKN ORLEN SA. Previously, he had held management and supervisory roles at Schöller Artykuły Spożywcze Sp. z o.o., Okocimskie Zakłady Piwowarskie SA, Aronia SA, Eckes Granini GmbH and Co. KG, Browar Dojlidy Sp. z o.o., Werner & Merz Polska, and Kamis-Przyprawy SA, as well as with the manufacturer Gamet SA and Gamet Holdings SA Luxembourg, the Polish market leader in decorative furniture fittings.
Łukasz Meissner has many years’ experience working in top management positions in multinational organisations, operating in the production and service sectors, modern technologies, logistics and seaports. A member of supervisory boards in production and logistics companies.
He graduated from the Department of International Trade at Poznań University of Economics and Business. He has the qualifications of the International Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and the title of Senior Member of the International Fellowship of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants (FCCA).
The Managing Partner of CFO Sp. z o.o., specialising in creating strategies and business models, financial management and effectiveness, and equity transactions, including mergers and acquisitions. He has implemented projects for, inter alia, Marmite SA, Polskie ePłatności SA, and The Volkswagen Group. Previously, he held, inter alia, the roles of Finance Director for DCT Gdańsk, Finance Director for the Raben group, the Financial Controller responsible for the finance department in the region of Central and Eastern Europe, and a member of the audit and transactional advisory unit in PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Marcin Porada has many years’ experience working in top management positions related to production, supply chains and projects in the field of business development.
He graduated from the Department of Economics and Foreign Trade Organisation at the University of Lodz. He has an MBA Diploma from the University of Maryland. He started his professional career working for DHL International. For several years he has run his own business, to later continue working for market leaders such as Philips Lighting, Delphi Automotive, Sonoco Packaging, Dell, and Rovese Holding SA. His main business activities have been focused on the optimisation of the supply chain and the improvement of operational excellence on the basis of the approach of World Class Manufacturing and APICS standards, being involved in numerous implementation projects in the sphere of new products, and creating processes around new investments, the so-called greenfield.
