Profim and Flokk group together for the first time at Warsaw Home Expo 2019
The high quality of this year’s edition of Warsaw Home is something that everyone agrees on: the organisers, the exhibitors and the visitors. The 4th edition of WH has become one of the most important industry events in Poland, and its importance is growing every year.
Profim made its third appearance at Warsaw Home Expo. This year's edition was a unique event for the Profim brand and the Flokk group – first time together at a joint stand. The unique space, designed by Studio Ganszyniec, created a perfect background for Profim seats and other Flokk brands. Both connoisseurs of beauty and supporters of practical solutions appreciated the creative approach to the stand – its attractive visual design, fresh colours and pleasant atmosphere. Profim presented the latest furniture collections and two new products: Trillo Pro and Accis Pro, which will be available for sale at the beginning of 2020. Products from the Flokk group, with the cult HÅG Capisco at the forefront, were also a great new feature for visitors.
Common concern for the world and climate change became the starting point for the creation of a unique cinema area where films on environmental issues were screened: “Anthropocene: The Human Epoch” and “Once Upon a Forest”. Taking care of the natural environment cannot remain an empty slogan repeated by everyone. Words must be followed by concrete actions. Every small change in attitude towards a more eco-friendly approach will bring measurable results not only in hundreds of years – everything is happening here and now. Part of the cinema area was a space devoted to Flokk values: “DNA – a journey into the world of sustainable design”, where the raw materials that are the basis for Flokk products were presented. This journey enabled us to understand the challenges facing the design team, the way of thinking that drives them and the passion that contributes to the development of innovative, environmentally friendly solutions. The walls of the exhibition were enriched with valuable information on facts and figures. As an example – we used 517 tonnes of recycled plastic waste to produce our products in 2016. In 2017 we increased this figure to 607 tonnes, in 2018 it was already 700 tonnes, and our target for 2020 is as much as 1000 tonnes.
Our exhibition space covered over 580 m2, we showed off a dozen or so products, conducted hundreds of conversations, meetings, presentations and discussions. Every smile, every word of praise and every handshake strengthened our belief that what we are doing has a deeper meaning – we are creating a new kind of quality.
